Faith Formation Grades 1-12

Faith Formation Mission Statement
Our mission is not only to educate students of all ages but, to incorporate hands on learning and service so our students not only hear the gospel but live it. Our goal is to prepare our students with knowledge and love of Christ. It is our hope they will continue to grow in their faith and share what they have learned at St. James wherever their future takes them in the world.

What is Faith Formation?
St. James Faith Formation is a comprehensive program for grades 1-12 which include sacramental preparation for Reconciliation (Confession), First Holy Communion (Eucharist), and Confirmation. Our curriculum is current and designed to include parent participation to help strengthen faith within the family. Students learn and live the Word each week through lessons, service projects and outreach to the poor and needy.
Each month our students participate in grade level weekend masses. Students from the designated class take on the responsibilities of lectors, ushers, gift bearers, and host the coffee that follows the mass.
