Funeral Receptions

St. James Parish Community strives to support you during this difficult time. Funeral receptions offer guests and family members a chance to spend time together and remember the person who passed.

As part of our ministry, we offer brunch or lunch buffet receptions after services. These receptions are made possible through the generosity of our parishioners who volunteer their time and talents, however some costs are incurred. Donations to offset any costs are gratefully accepted.

For further information or to request a reception, please contact Committee Chair:

Ministry to the Homebound

Short/long-term illness and/or the challenges of aging are some reasons that may prevent parishioners from joining the parish community for the Sunday celebration of the Eucharist, as well as parish events. Keeping people active and connected to the parish is a priority for St. James.

 Home / Assisted Living Visits

Our ministers to the homebound, along with Fr. Kevin, are available to make home, assisted living or nursing home visits, bringing with them not only the Eucharist, but prayers and news from the parish community.  Ministry to the Homebound is coordinated by Deacon John Addante.

If you have a family member or friend who could use a visit, please contact John Addante through the parish office.
